The High Family Association

Thank you for visiting our web site. This site was developed as an Internet portal for the descendants (and their spouses) of Thomas High, our founding ancestor, who was born in England in circa 1647 and came to Virginia in 1660. Through this website, we hope to bring all our family members together and share information.

For the purpose of developing this website, I request that any of you who wish to help with this web project contact me. People can contribute in various ways:

Send me photos of your family and ancestors for our photo gallery. You can either send the actual photos, or via email in JPEG format.
Provide me with suggestion on resources on the Internet for genealogical research.
Reviews on books relating to genealogy.
Genealogical events and family reunions for our calendar of events.
Graphic designers - we could use some nice graphics! ;-)
...and anything else that you may think that would enhance this website.

One thing that you can do for sure is to tell other family members about this site and have them join the HIGH FAMILY ASSOCIATION. We have an application form on our membership page that you can download or print directly from the browser.
